In order to prepare himself for the 2years stay in America next year ,
Wen(my eldest brother) finally set himself on "training".
While my mum is away from Singapore
(she's coming back today .. aww :( i need to return her her bed ),


Wen decided " let's go sheng shiong and i'll cook lunch tmr(saturday)"





i was laughing mad inside and Long(another brother) was looking really dubious about it.

i was employed by Wen to TEACH him how to go about cooking..
Though i always had a flair for kitchen stuffs , i seriously had no idea about teaching,
especially .. teaching a virgin , a cooking virgin i mean ..
well , i had never ever in my 16years of life seen Wen cooked anything else except maggie noodles
In order to make me not feel too bad,
i told myself , " ... at least he knows how to use the gas stove "

For a start , at 11am we went to the supermarket and bought some fresh ingredients
And that's one of the main reason why i made this post
when it comes to identifying food,
Those 2 guys become idiots. REAL IDIOTS





Ever since Long mistook vegetables for beans,
sweet potatoes for potatoes
and Wen who bought one cabbage home and requested a salad from me ..
This trip to the supermarket again proves how ridiculous/hilarious they can be.

while we were busy searching for potatoes for the soup,


Wen took me to the fruit section and points to a mountain of a brown-looking fruit and flarantly told me " there!"


*faints*

i don't supposed potatoes appearing at the fruits section ?

and I know both are brown in colour but i swear i won't drink if you add chiku into my soup

We returned home to cook lunch and i wasn't allowed to do any of the cooking since the aim of it was to let Wen learn..


and i finally understand how was it like when my mum taught me how to cook for the very first time...

Everything was higgledy-piggledy and i had to teach him how to manage the uncooked ingredients,how to dice capsium,how to shred carrots... even how to hold a knife correctly .

up till here , i guessed you can guess how is it like when he STARTED.





However i understand that you shouldn't expect much from a beginner , but ..


i do have the right to complain as my supposed-ly lunch became dinner


because he was really-really-really-extremely-YOU-CANNOT-IMAGINE de .. slow

After like ..8 millon years he finally starts cooking ... ?

and me too struggling with the fellow meddling with the food...
